EdgenomiX (hereinafter the "Company") complies with applicable laws including the Personal Information Protection Act, and establishes and discloses the following privacy policy in order to handle users' personal data securely.
Article 1 (Items and Methods of Personal Data Collection)
The Company collects personal data through the following methods.
- Inquiry form: company name, contact person's name, email, phone number (optional), inquiry content
- AI chatbot: conversation content entered by the user
- Automatic collection: access logs and cookies may be generated and collected in the course of service use
Article 2 (Purposes of Use of Personal Data)
The Company uses the personal data it collects only within the scope of the following purposes.
- Receiving and responding to inquiries
- Product consultation and demo guidance
- Improving service quality
Article 3 (Retention and Destruction of Personal Data)
The Company retains personal data for one year after completion of inquiry handling, and destroys it without delay once the retention period has elapsed. However, where there is a retention obligation under applicable laws, the data is retained for the period prescribed by the relevant law.
Article 4 (Outsourcing of Personal Data Processing)
For stable service operation, the Company outsources the processing of personal data as follows.
- Processor: Amazon Web Services — cloud infrastructure operation (data storage for service operation)
The outsourcing agreement stipulates the matters necessary to ensure that personal data is managed securely.
Article 5 (Rights of Data Subjects and How to Exercise Them)
Data subjects may at any time request the Company to access, correct, delete, or suspend the processing of their personal data. Such rights may be exercised by email (egnox@edgenomix.com), and the Company will take action without delay in accordance with applicable laws.
Article 6 (Chief Privacy Officer)
The Company has designated a Chief Privacy Officer as set out below to oversee personal data processing and to handle data subjects' inquiries and complaints as well as remedies for harm.
